Why I Paint
Time has a way of slipping by before we realize it.
One day your children are babies.
The next they're running ahead of you.
Flowers bloom and fade.
Seasons change.
Life keeps moving.
I've learned that if we aren't intentional, the beauty of today quietly becomes the memory of yesterday.
Painting helps me slow down long enough to notice it.
Every flower I paint reminds me that beauty is often found in the smallest, quietest moments—the ones we almost miss.
My paintings aren't simply botanicals.
They're my way of preserving the feeling of a moment.
A season.
A prayer.
A memory.
A reminder that God's faithfulness can be found in ordinary days if we're willing to slow down long enough to notice.
I hope they invite you to do the same.
